As a Setup and Delivery Specialist, you'll be a crucial part of delivering, installing, and configuring equipment at client sites, ensuring smooth execution and creating positive experiences for customers. Youll work closely with the service team and sales department to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction every step of the way.
What Youll Do:
As a Setup and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing in-shop assembly and setup of equipment following manufacturer guidelines and quality standards.
- Testing all equipment thoroughly prior to delivery to confirm proper operation.
- Reviewing daily delivery schedules, verifying order details, accessories, and customer notes to ensure accuracy.
- Safely loading, transporting, and delivering equipment using company vehicles in accordance with safety protocols.
- Greeting clients on-site, assisting with installations, and testing equipment to verify proper functioning.
- Providing basic training to end users to ensure they are comfortable and confident with the equipment.
- Removing outdated or old equipment from customer facilities as needed.
- Completing all necessary paperwork, including work orders, delivery forms, and setup documentation.
- Assisting with warehouse operations such as unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Supporting facility upkeep efforts, including snow removal during winter months.
- Tagging inbound and outbound equipment accurately, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Communicating post-installation updates and feedback to management and sales teams.
- Attending team meetings and adhering to company safety policies.
- Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned to support team success.
What Youll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills.
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- The physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs using a dolly and assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders and perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and bending.
- A professional appearance and demeanor when engaging with clients.
- Willingness to obtain a medical certification card (provided after hire).
- Prior experience in field technical service or similar roles is preferred.
