CDL Driver / Setup Technician

Location: Sparks, NV
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Bear Staffing is seeking a CDL Driver / Setup Technician for one of the nation's leading providers of modular buildings, mobile offices, and temporary space solutions.

This position is ideal for a CDL Driver looking for more than just sitting behind the wheel. In this role, you'll transport and help set up office trailers and modular buildings at customer sites, combining driving responsibilities with hands-on construction, installation, and service work.

Responsibilities:

• Transport modular buildings and office trailers to customer locations.
• Perform setup and installation of modular units, including:
  • Anchoring, blocking, and leveling units
  • Installing steps, ramps, canopies, and skirting
  • Interior and exterior seaming
  • Building modifications and customer-requested installations
• Assist with building tear-downs and removals.
• Perform basic service and repair work, including light electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Complete work orders and service documentation.
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company on job sites.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Carpentry, construction, setup, installation, or related trade experience preferred.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors.
• Basic computer skills required.
