General Summary
The Technical Business Analyst will partner with product owners, requestors, and cross functional teams to gather requirements, validate processes, define scope, and support solution delivery across Salesforce initiatives. This role requires strong Salesforce platform experience and CPQ expertise, with the ability to analyze business needs, translate them into technical requirements, support QA/UAT, and produce clear documentation of current and future state processes. The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure projects are well defined, aligned, and successfully executed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide support to cross functional teams with strong attention to detail
Research, analyze, and document findings across business and system processes
Document and distribute new or revised processes and procedures resulting from project efforts
Analyze business problems and recommend actionable, scalable solutions
Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
Create and implement solution designs aligned with business needs
Build and manage project plans when applicable
Test solution designs, manage QA and UAT cycles, and verify results
Maintain detailed records of initiatives, decisions, and solution outcomes
Perform system demos, support UAT, and conduct user training
Facilitate user acceptance and sign off
Perform a variety of tasks requiring creativity, adaptability, and problem solving
Review, analyze, and evaluate market data and trends
Work with stakeholders to document requirements, define scope/objectives, and provide recommendations on next steps
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Required Salesforce Skills
4+ years of hands on Salesforce experience
Strong Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) knowledge including product configuration, bundles, pricing, rules, approvals, quote templates, and Q2C processes
Ability to work independently on projects and processes with general supervision
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non technical audiences
Strong analytical, documentation, and people skills
Well versed in Agile, Waterfall, and SCRUM methodologies
Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Strong problem solving abilities
Ability to meet deadlines
Team oriented with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships
Familiarity with relational database concepts and client server concepts
Financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial terminology
Familiarity with SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Jira
Preferred Salesforce Skills (Not Required)

Exposure to Salesforce integrations, automation (Flows), and platform best practices
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience
4+ years of related professional experience
4+ years of experience working with Salesforce Platform
