Responsibilities:Job Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the safety of the facilities department by developing, reviewing, and revising operating procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of park and department policies and procedures
- Maintain documentation of training certifications, maintenance and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain daily operation and rehab projects.
- Lead and schedule all assigned facilities shops to ensure all work assignments are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Preparing and coordinating all tools, equipment, and materials required for projects.
- Working to continuously improve employee morale
- Handling team member questions and concerns.
- Lead, discipline, motivate and manage staff to achieve department goals.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess:
- Experience in leading the team with projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation.
- Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
- An enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
- Valid CA driver license.
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment (cleaning equipment, tractor, sweeper truck, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
