Overview:
Directly responsible for monitoring phone calls and emails for our current workforce to ensure optimal staffing maintained throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving phone calls from associates who are unable to fulfill their scheduled shifts and communicate the absences to appropriate department.
- Coordinate the covering of shifts left open due to associate absences by contacting associates who may be available to work, and adding shifts to the schedule in UKG.
- Perform the day-of timekeeping functions for all departments by processing timecards, entering missing punches, comments, and paycodes.
- Maintaining the schedules on the day-of, adjusting shifts, transferring associates between locations, and solving scheduling issues.
- Communicate trends in guest demand, associate absences, and/or schedule changes to the Scheduling Team for adjustments in future schedules.
- Coordinate the resolution of associate scheduling concerns by directing the associate to the appropriate scheduler, leadership team, or resolving the concern themselves.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work outside in variety of weather conditions.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Must have the ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to speak fluent English and must be able to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, speakd and write in English.
- Must possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
