Desktop Support Engineer (Windows 11 & Voice Support)
Stamford, CT (onsite)
6+Month Contract

• Provide on-site desktop and voice support during core business hours.
• Deliver walk-up, phone, and email support with no appointment required.
• Support users across two on-site locations.
• Resolve incidents and service requests while providing excellent end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Windows 11 desktop and voice-related support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
• Deliver walk-up, phone, email, and in-person ("shoulder-tap") support.
• Resolve Local Services incidents and complete on-site service requests.
• Replace or swap faulty equipment and peripherals using on-site stock.
• Manage local hardware inventory for break-fix and service requests.
• Log incidents and service requests on behalf of users when required.
• Provide general IT guidance and support to end users.
• Implement small service improvements based on recurring user feedback.
• Support users at the primary site in Stamford, CT and the disaster recovery site in Trumbull, CT.

Requirements

• Experience providing enterprise Desktop Support.
• Strong experience supporting Windows 11 desktop environments.
• Experience supporting voice/telephony-related issues.
• Strong general IT troubleshooting and end-user support skills.
• Experience with hardware replacement, peripherals, and break-fix support.
• Experience managing incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 100% on-site.
• Eligible to work without immigration sponsorship.
