SharePoint Help Desk Specialist

ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and customer-service oriented SharePoint Help Desk Specialist to join our growing team. The individual will be responsible for working closely with the SharePoint team and supporting SharePoint end-users as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 support representative. The candidate must have prior Customer support experience and SharePoint PowerUser experience. The ideal candidate for this position is expected have a flexible work style, possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and have excellent communications skills. This position provides the opportunity for further career growth on SharePoint technology.

Job responsibilities include:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier2 SharePoint Online and Applications Support
• Provide training to end users (Webinars, one-on-one, group)
• Design sites using out-of-box SharePoint Online features
• Support Knowledgebase by creating blogs, newsletters, and quick tips
• Create and update Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for O&M tasks
• Perform minor UI/UX changes and reports using Power Platform
• Test custom solutions

This opening is for a contingent full-time salaried position located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Vienna, VA. Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of higher education, professional training, and additional experience)
• 2-4 years of Prior Customer Support experience
• Experience on creating training material to end users (Webinars, one-on-one, group)
• Experience on creating SOP and knowledgebase material
• SharePoint Online experience including Creating and maintaining sites, Webparts, Lists & libraries, Web pages, Custom permission
• Experience using JIRA
• Experience testing custom solutions
• Attention to details and thrives in team environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Power Platform and Office 365 certified
• Familiar with website layouts and HTML, CSS and basic Java Script
• Prior Federal Government contract experience
