Job Title: Shaving Line Operator
Pay: $18.00/hour
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Brownsville, OR

We’re hiring a Shaving Line Operator to join an established manufacturing team in Brownsville. This is a hands-on production role where you’ll do more than stand in one spot all day — you’ll operate equipment, keep materials moving, perform quality checks, and learn multiple parts of the production process.

What You’ll Do

• Operate production and packaging equipment, including baggers, balers, shrink-wrappers, and bag sealers.
• Use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment to keep production moving.
• Inspect finished bags for proper seals and quality.
• Operate skid steers or front-end loaders to load feed bins.
• Learn and support pellet mill operations.
• Watch for material, moisture, or equipment issues and communicate them to your Shift Lead.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including greasing mills and changing or sharpening blades.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues to help minimize downtime.
• Jump into other production areas when your team needs an extra hand.

What You’ll Have

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or equipment-operation experience preferred.
• Forklift experience; certification is a plus.
• Comfort working around machinery and learning new equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic maintenance.
• Ability to regularly lift and maneuver 40–50 lb. bags.
• Willingness to learn equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and chainsaws.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Most importantly — dependability, a willingness to learn, and a solid work ethic.
