What You'll Do:

• Interpret and execute work orders and shop drawings with precision

• Select and transport raw materials using overhead cranes

• Measure, shear, and bend metals to exact specifications

• Set up and operate shear and brake machines with high attention to detail

• Ensure correct tolerances and allowances for all jobs

• Perform die changes and machine adjustments as needed

• Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance

• Follow safety standards and best practices at all times

• Work with accuracy using tape measures, gauges, and other tools

What You Bring:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating shears and brakes

• Strong understanding of tape measures, tolerances, and fabrication math

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Familiarity with overhead cranes and safe material handling

• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach throughout the shift

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Physical Demands:

This is a physically active role requiring standing, lifting, reaching, stooping, and pulling throughout the day.
