Description:

You will be the Sheet Metal Fabricator C - Dallas, TX for the Grand Prairie team. Our team is responsible for performing complex sheet metal assembly operations to support the development of experimental, production, and prototype missile systems and other assemblies.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sheet Metal Fabricator C - Dallas, TX you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and reworking a wide variety of semi‑complicated parts and assemblies.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lay out sheet‑metal components according to engineering drawings.
  • Fabricate parts using cutting, bending, and forming equipment.
  • Assemble sub‑assemblies and complete units.
  • Install fabricated components onto larger systems.
  • Rework or repair parts to meet quality standards.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have equivalent to a high school degree and one (1) to three (3) years related experience.
  • Prior experience in riveting and nut plates
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be U.S. citizens

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with sheet metal brakes and shears
  • Experience using sheet metal cutting tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
