This position is for a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Engineering Aide)


Summary


Join our Test Engineering Fabrication team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator supporting the build of mission-critical test equipment.

In this hands-on role, you will fabricate, modify, and assemble sheet metal components used in consoles, enclosures, panels, and custom hardware that integrate into complex electrical test systems.

You will work from engineering drawings to lay out, cut, bend, form, and finish sheet metal parts using standard shop equipment.

This role involves both fabrication of new components and modification of existing or purchased hardware to meet design requirements.

You will collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure proper fit, form, and function within larger assemblies.

This is a low-volume, high-mix environment, requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.

You will also support troubleshooting, rework, and continuous improvement efforts, as well as participate in fabrication verification and documentation of build processes.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take ownership of work, operate with minimal oversight, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Required Experience:

* 1 to 2 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication or related mechanical fabrication field.
* High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree is not required.
