    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician / Programmer to join our manufacturing team in a modern fabrication environment. This position is responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of advanced sheet metal fabrication equipment used to produce high-quality precision components for industrial equipment applications.

    Operate and support production activities on:

    • Laser Cutting Systems
    • Press Brake Equipment
    • Lissmac Deburring Machinery
    • Haeger PEM Insertion Equipment

    Perform manual deburring, tapping, and secondary finishing operations.

    Program and nest sheet metal components for laser production.

    Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and fabrication prints.

    Verify part quality using standard inspection tools and measurement equipment.

    Perform machine setup adjustments and tooling changes.

    Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.

    Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

    Deburr laser cut material.

    Help load and un-load laser.

    Tap parts to print specs.

    Insert pems into sheet-metal parts per prints.

    Move both raw and finished materials to defined locations.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • 1 year in manufacturing production environment preferable a machine or fabrication job shop.
    • Experience operating a fork-lift.
    • Prior use of pneumatic air tools.
    • Ability to move material at least 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
