What you’ll tackle
Set up and run brake press machinery to meet exact specs
Interpret blueprints and job travelers with confidence
Choose the right tooling and make accurate machine adjustments
Load, position, and secure workpieces safely
Verify part quality with calipers and micrometers
Troubleshoot issues, perform basic repairs, and complete preventative maintenance
Pitch in with additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
What you’ll need to succeed
1+ years operating a brake press
Comfort reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
Proficiency with basic hand tools
Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification
Can lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet—standing, bending, kneeling—for extended periods
Solid understanding of workplace safety
Dependable, clear communicator, and receptive to direction
Compensation
Starting pay: $22.00/h – $25.00/h
