Position Details

Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00/hour

Location: Windermere, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Schedule: 5-8s, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Start Date: 05/28/2026

Scope of Work

• Read and interpret blueprints and scale off drawings
• Connect ductwork and install hangers as per specifications
• Measure using tape measures and other tools accurately
• Assist with HVAC systems installation and maintenance
• Work at a school facility for two months, then transfer to other schools as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and scale drawings accurately
• Experience with ductwork, hangers, and tape measuring methods
• OCPS JLA badge required (must submit selfie for badge processing)
• Language proficiency in Spanish is acceptable
