You’ll translate customer demand into a clear, achievable schedule, balancing machines, materials, and people. Throughout the day, you’ll navigate the ERP, track real-time progress, and resolve bottlenecks before they become roadblocks. By afternoon, you’re refining plans against KPIs and mentoring team members so tomorrow runs even better than today.

What You’ll Own

  • Craft production schedules that meet customer commitments while making the smartest use of people, equipment, and materials.
  • Guide and develop a team of planners and production professionals, building a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Champion lean practices to remove waste, compress lead times, and elevate throughput across the facility.
  • Leverage ERP tools to manage inventory status, work-in-process, and schedule adjustments with confidence.
  • Partner with operations, quality, purchasing, and engineering to quickly identify and resolve production constraints.
  • Track key performance metrics and recalibrate plans to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Coach, train, and mentor—growing capability and career paths across the team.

What You Bring

  • Success in a manufacturing planning role; sheet metal fabrication experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership and people development skills with a knack for motivating diverse teams.
  • Hands-on knowledge of lean manufacturing and a track record of practical implementation.
  • Expertise in scheduling and production planning with a deep understanding of workflow optimization.
  • ERP proficiency; experience with specific platforms is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Clear, confident communication at every level of the organization.
