Sheet Metal Production Mechanic III

DPP is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Mechanic III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
 
Work location: Onsite in Lake Charles, LA
Duration: 12 months
Shift: Must be able to work Mon-Thurs 6:00AM-4:42PM or Mon-Thurs 4:00PM-2:42AM
Work authorization: US Citizen
 
Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair production sheet metal products and equipment such as control boxes, drainpipes, ventilators, and furnace casings in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Make sheet metal layouts, set up and operate fabricating machinery, shape metal over anvils, blocks, or forms, operate welding and soldering equipment, and inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
