What You'll Do
As an Experienced Sheet Metal Installer, you will play a key role in installing and fabricating high-quality metal roofing systems and accessories on commercial and residential projects. You'll work alongside a talented team while helping train and mentor apprentices as they develop their skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing standing seam roofing systems, coping, gutters, downspouts, drip edge, metal panels, and related accessories
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting sheet metal materials accurately
- Reading and understanding metal diagrams and project layouts
- Identifying roofing materials and understanding their applications
- Assisting with material loading, unloading, and job site setup
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operating hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Following OSHA, SMACNA, manufacturer, and company safety standards
- Providing leadership, guidance, and positive reinforcement to apprentices and team members
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of sheet metal or metal roofing experience
- Basic knowledge of metal roofing installation and production processes
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights without restrictions
- Ability to climb ladders and work safely in various weather conditions
- Basic math, problem-solving, reading, and writing skills
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
