Work Hours: 4:00pm - 4:00am; 3 days on, 4 days off (working consecutive days, no swing shift)
Pay Rate: starting from $23.20/hour
What you’ll do:
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
- Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
- Ensure product is sheeted according to production schedule.
- Web the sheeter.
- Calculate the machine count.
- Clean the sheeter.
- Perform routine sheeter maintenance.
- Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
- Complete the necessary paperwork.
- Back up material expediter.
- Drive clamp truck and fork truck.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills:
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be a good problem solver.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
- Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
- Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
- Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
- Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and special relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
- Ability to climb stairs up to up to 5-10% of the shift
- Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 30% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
- Ability to use screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, and pliers.
- May be asked to lift 50 pounds or more.
