Sheetfed Offset Second Press Operator

About the Opportunity

Step onto our pressroom floor at 3:00 pm. You meet with the lead operator, review the job ticket, and set the feeder for a multicolor, high-speed Komori sheetfed press. You dial in make-ready, load paper, board, foil, or plastic, and start the run. Throughout the shift, you monitor sheet feeding, keep quality tight, troubleshoot any misfeeds, and lend a hand with periodic and preventive maintenance. By 11:30 pm, you’ve helped deliver work that’s on spec, on time, and ready to impress our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Set up (make-ready) and feed sheets on a multicolor, high-speed Komori press
• Run diverse substrates: paper, paperboard, foil, and plastic—while maintaining top-tier quality
• Troubleshoot feeder performance and assist with scheduled maintenance
• Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Partner closely with the press operator to meet quality and productivity goals

Shift

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

What You Bring

• 3+ years in a pressroom or comparable manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to read/understand instructions and work independently or on a team
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.; comfortable bending, stacking, and using a pallet jack
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Consistent focus on safety, quality, and throughput
