1 Sheetmetal Mechanic Job Overview : Our continued growth has resulted in the need for experienced Sheetmetal Mechanics . Responsibilities: • Read Prints • Layout Ductwork • Draw Cut Tickets • Layout and assemble the following: Rectangular Ductwork, TDF/TDC, S and Drive; Snap lock Duct; Spiral Duct Oval and Double Wall Duct • Install Hangers • Install AHU's • Install VAV's • Install Flex Duct and Grilles Seal Ductwork • Demo Duct and Equipment (when required ) Qualifications/Requirement s: • 3+ years of Sheetmetal experience (Journeyman or Helper/Apprentice will be considere d) on commercial new construction projects . • Must be a ble to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design ability of related HV AC systems. • Must have own hand tools. Preferred Qualifications : • OSHA 10 or other relevant safety certification. Additional Requirements : • Basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills. • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy . • Regular and punctual attendance. • Ability to stand, squat, bend, climb, stoop and comfortably lift up to 75 lbs. • Ability to pass criminal history background screening and drug test. • Ability to pass a physical ability test. Work environment is field based . Requires walking, standing, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures. May require travel between assigned project sites.
