Job Title: Sheetrock Laborer
Pay: $22 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am - 4pm (occasionally 3-4am start or until 8-9pm, with overtime opportunities)

As a Sheetrock Laborer in Portland, you’ll support delivery operations and assist with the safe handling and placement of building materials, making a real difference in our projects every day.

As a Sheetrock Laborer, you’ll help ensure materials are delivered, organized, and properly handled at each site. You’ll work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and orderliness, contributing to smooth project progress.

What You’ll Do
As a Sheetrock Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Accurately distributing and placing all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket—this includes drywall sheets, wall boards, bags of concrete, and drywall mudding material
• Examining and recording all materials transported to and/or from the delivery site
• Verifying and documenting the quantity and type of building materials handled
• Neatly placing delivered products to ensure an organized and professional appearance
• Cleaning up debris created during the delivery process and disposing of it properly before leaving the site

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Knowledge of applicable building material products is preferred
• Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required
• Comfort following all safety procedures for transporting materials via stairways, elevators, and boom operations
• Training and licensing/certification to operate forklift equipment (a plus)
• Physical ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 115 lbs with assistance
• No fear of heights, as the role involves delivering heavy materials to job sites using external elevators, scaffolding, or ladders
