Description
The Hennepin County Sheriffs Office is seeking a Sergeant to supervise the work of deputies and support staff assigned to various Sheriffs Office divisions and units.
Location and hours:
This position may be assigned to any unit or division within the Hennepin County Sheriffs Office and requires flexibility in hours including days, evenings, overnights, on-call, weekends, holidays, and requires being on call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, and 365 days/year.

This is a full-time, benefit earning position. You must be a current regular or probationary employee of the Hennepin County Sheriffs Office to apply for this position. Limited duration employees are not eligible.

The Hennepin County Sheriffs Office serves the countys 1.2 million residents. State law mandates most of the sheriffs office duties, including managing the county jail, providing security to the district court, and patrolling the waterways in the county.
The Sheriffs Office also runs specialized initiatives like Criminal Information Sharing and Analysis (CISA), Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF), Crime Scene Investigation, Criminal Investigation, Community Outreach and Employee Wellness.
