Responsible for electrical maintenance in various areas of the mill and ancillary equipment working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift.
Responsibilities:
Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment problems, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of new electrical equipment.
Assist mechanics and operators with daily maintenance work.
Qualifications:
Required
At least 5 years working as an industrial electrician or technician in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives
Experience with PLC’s, drives and HMI software
Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and installation of electrical equipment
Preferred
Good working knowledge and understanding of Siemens PLC’s, drives, HMI software, low and medium voltage equipment, AC motors and AC drives
Formal electrical training
