Dog Haus Biergarten is looking for motivated and dependable Shift Leads to help lead our team in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment.

Shift Leads play a key role in daily operations by supporting both front-of-house and kitchen teams while helping ensure an outstanding guest experience.

This position is ideal for someone with previous restaurant leader experience who enjoys leading by example, coaching team members, and staying calm under pressure during busy shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members throughout shifts
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Support guest services and help resolve guest concerns
• Monitor shift flow and assist with labor efficiency
• Ensure team members are following procedures and expectations
• Assist with training and coaching new hires
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment
• Support both front-of-house and kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and professional attitude
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout shifts
• Food Handler Certification (person in charge level 1) preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Dog Haus creates hand-crafted all beef hot dogs and sausages with no added nitrates, 100% Black Angus beef burgers and unique fried chicken creations, all of which are made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meat and served on King's Hawaiian rolls, and all of which have garnered critical acclaim and national attention. To chase it down, guests can select great craft beers from a tap list emphasizing local favorites or a signature cocktail, and they can finish their meals on a sweet note with premium shakes or soft-serve ice cream. Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.
