Responsibilities:
- Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs during play sessions.
- Monitor dog behavior, health, and social interactions.
- Feed dogs and administer medications as directed.
- Clean and sanitize play areas, cabins, and facility spaces daily.
- Communicate with pet parents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient shifts.
- Lead and support a team of 6–8 staff members during assigned shifts.
Front Desk Support:
- Greet customers and their pets in a welcoming, professional manner.
- Check dogs in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services.
- Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Process payments and maintain accurate customer and pet records.
- Provide updates to pet parents regarding their dogs' stay and activities.
- Support daily administrative tasks to help ensure efficient front desk operations.
Qualifications:
- Genuine love for dogs and comfort working with all breeds and sizes.
- Experience in dog daycare, boarding, kennels, veterinary clinics, grooming, retail, hospitality, or customer service settings is preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, active environment.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling and reservation software.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
