The Baked Bear is a popular ice cream shop located on Georgetown's beautiful town square. We specialize in custom ice cream sandwiches made with cookies baked fresh in house daily and our premium Baked Bear craft ice cream. Our customers love our delicious treats and our warm service.
As a shift lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also supervise, train and motivate the staff, handle customer complaints and feedback, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store. You will report to the store manager and assist them with any tasks as needed.
To be a successful shift lead, you should have:
- Previous experience in food service or retail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a passion for ice cream
- A flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
