Shift Lead

The Shift Lead at Chick-fil-A is responsible for managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring that high standards of customer service, food quality, and team performance are consistently met. They are the face of Chick-fil-A, embodying the mission statement of Winning Hearts Everyday. A Shift Lead is one who consistently demonstrates our core values (Integrity, Grit and Servant's Heart) and embraces the Chick-fil-A culture. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. This role ensures that Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality, efficiency, and service are met. The Shift Lead also helps with administrative tasks such as staff training and assisting Team leads with their goals for the business. A Shift Lead two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Lead lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
