Sbarro is hiring an energetic and reliable Shift Lead to help lead our fast-paced restaurant team! In this role, you will support daily operations, coach team members, and help ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service and accurate orders
• Help maintain Sbarro standards for food quality, speed, and cleanliness
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily shift operations
• Train and coach team members on company procedures, food preparation, and service expectations
• Delegate tasks and maintain productivity during busy periods
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
• Assist with inventory, stocking, food preparation, and overall restaurant organization
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support the General Manager and management team with daily operational goals
• Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Lead by example and ensure team members are following Sbarro policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to stay organized and focused during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
