Shift Leader

The Shift Leader works alongside the General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure the restaurant meets Jersey Mike’s standards for quality, cleanliness, speed, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and support the team during each shift.
• Ensure excellent customer service and accurate food preparation.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Train, coach, and provide direction to team members.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure employees complete assigned tasks efficiently and correctly.
• Communicate with the General Manager regarding staffing and store operations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures with integrity.
• Perform all duties of a Line Employee as needed.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Positive, energetic, dependable, and hardworking.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and lead others.
• Available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
