Shift Leader

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Shift Leader to help lead daily operations and support our team in delivering an excellent guest experience. In this role, you will help oversee team members during assigned shifts, ensure food quality and service standards are met, and keep the restaurant running smoothly during busy periods.

What does a shift look like at Chick-fil-A as a Shift Leader?

A day in the life of a Shift Leader at Chick-fil-A is fast-paced, people-focused, and full of opportunities to lead by example. You will help guide team members during the shift, support guest service, solve problems in real time, and ensure the restaurant is running smoothly. This role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay calm and organized during busy meal periods. Every shift, you help create a culture of excellence, teamwork, and genuine care for both guests and team members.

Position Type:

• Full-time or Part-time positions available

Hours:

• Day shift works between the hours of 6am-5pm with flexible scheduling
• Night shift works between the hours of 2pm-11pm with flexible scheduling

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Help ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality
• Coach team members in real time and provide feedback as needed
• Monitor shift flow and position team members effectively
• Help manage breaks, task completion, and shift priorities
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
• Communicate with leadership about team performance, operational needs, and guest feedback
• Ensure team members follow company policies, procedures, and food safety standards
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment
• Lead by example with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and servant leadership mindset
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Consistent and reliable; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS
• Must have reliable transportation
• Cheerful and positive attitude
• Customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule and required to work Saturdays
• Have the ability to lift and carry 25 lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
