Zambrero Florence is looking for an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to help lead our team and create an amazing experience for our customers.

We’re a fast paced Mexican restaurant with a difference. There are no fryers or hoods, which means a cleaner working environment, and through our Plate 4 Plate initiative, every burrito or bowl purchased helps provide a meal to someone in need.

What You’ll Do

As a Shift Leader, you’ll help keep the restaurant running smoothly while supporting and motivating the team throughout your shift.

• Lead and support team members during your assigned shifts
• Help train and mentor new and existing team members
• Create a friendly and welcoming experience for every customer
• Handle customer questions or concerns professionally
• Ensure food quality and service meet Zambrero standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe restaurant
• Follow food safety and sanitation requirements
• Assist with inventory and stock management
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities as required
• Work closely with restaurant management to keep each shift running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Previous food service, hospitality, or restaurant experience
• Leadership experience is preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
• Ability to stay organised in a fast paced environment
• Reliable and comfortable taking responsibility during a shift
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
