Purpose The Shift Leader reports directly to the General Manager. The SL assists the GM in the achievement of the restaurants people, operational and financial goals.

Key Accountabilities

### People

• Assists GM in achieving restaurants staffing and development goals
• Assists GM in monitoring/ improving employee morale
• Personally coaches staff
• Supports training of employees
• Ensures safety is everyones top priority
• Ensures compliance with all applicable laws
• Ensures compliance with all company policies

### Financials

• Assists GM in achieving sales and profits to plan
• Displays urgency in correcting daily financial control deficiencies
• Operations Delivers/ improves delivery of operational standards
• Ensure execution of excellent customer service
• Execute shift deployment as the MIC
• Assist GM to ensure all food safety and brand standards are executed
• Open or close restaurant as required

### Safety

• Ensure that safety is a priority for all employees
• Act in a safe manner and do not put self or others at risk
• Safety is everyones responsibility

Decision-Making

• Complete all essential functions
• Compliance with all Brand and Company Standards and targets
• Guests, in-store operators, operations management, office staff, maintenance, and vendors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Physical and/or Medical Requirements: Must obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate
• $17.00 per hour

Working Conditions

Minimal hazards. General restaurant and office working conditions.
