Playa Bowls is New Jersey's Original Acai Shop, founded in 2014, and our mission is to bring superfruit bowls to the masses using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients while providing a fantastic in-store brand experience. What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 300+ unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept. Playa Bowls added more than 70+ locations in 2024 and are on target to add as many 90 new locations in 2025. About the Role:
The Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the service environment. This position is responsible for overseeing team members during assigned shifts, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The Shift Leader acts as a key point of contact between management and staff, facilitating communication and resolving any operational issues that arise. By leading by example and providing guidance, the Shift Leader helps foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and productivity. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to achieving operational goals and delivering an exceptional experience to customers and clients.
