ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interact with crew members and customers using our unique "Tropitude" to create a positive and fun atmosphere.
- Deliver unparalleled hospitality to each customer, ensuring they have an amazing experience.
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in each position within the cafe.
- Successfully complete the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program.
- Ensure each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards.
- Train and coach crew members during each shift to uphold brand standards.
- Utilize tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, and control inventory.
- Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe smoothly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds for stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash.
- Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
- Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Most shifts are eight hours, but this may vary.
- Expect some early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and/or holiday hours, with additional opening/closing responsibilities.
- Lead crew members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Cafe's core values in all interactions.
- Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Employee Handbook, uniform, and personal hygiene policies for each shift.
