We are looking for purpose-driven Shift Leaders-Team Captain to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Leader-Team Captain you will help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, but also provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store. The successful Shift Leader will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.

• Lead the shift and guide Team Members when the General Manager or Assistant Manager isn't in the store. 
• Train and coach both new and existing team members so SOPs are followed consistently. 
• Keep deployment maps and station assignments running so the shift stays efficient. 
• Set the tone for a "Guest Comes First" attitude, for yourself and the whole team. 
• Support Team Members at the register with upselling and guest recommendations. 
• Handle cash handling and inventory reporting with honesty and attention to detail. 
• Know what to flag to your General Manager: you're the first line of judgment on shift. 
• Encourage the team to hit goals and finish checklist tasks, especially when things get busy. 
• Keep opening/closing duties and store standards on track. 

• You're already living the Smoothie King culture, values, and mission as a Team Member. 
• A self-starter who can lead through influence: this role doesn't come with formal write-up or scheduling authority, so trust and communication are how you get the team on board. 
• Comfort communicating clearly with guests, teammates, and your GM, verbally and in writing. 
• Basic comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
• An eye for detail and the integrity to handle cash and inventory responsibly. 

• Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a “guest comes first” attitude.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or older to apply. Please note that while this is the minimum age requirement for employment, the Team Captain role may require additional qualifications and experience beyond age.
• Experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment.
