Who are we looking for?
Requirements
Minimum Age 18
College degree or equivalent work experience
Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role
Previous proven supervisory or managerial experience of various workgroups including management, non-management, and contract labor groups (3+ years)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including proficiency in Sabre (RES/PNR review), Net Tracer, Ramp Operations (Bag Tracker+, Bag Matrix, etc.), PRIME, GET, Tracer review and analysis of baggage mishandling, Staff admin and other company software
Proficiency in airline operations (above and below the wing)
Previous working experience demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to study large pieces of data to prepare numerical and graphical depictions of performance
When applicable, may be required to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends including working extra hours when there are operation needs such as weather delays
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Must possess the legal right to work in the United States
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Previous cross functional airline industry experience
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated, with proven leadership and analytical skills.
The shift manager should ideally be someone upper management can trust to act in their best interests. This is a position ideally for someone who is highly organized with strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
