Buche Foods is looking for a Shift Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver a great shopping experience for our customers. As a Shift Manager, you’ll oversee operations during your assigned shifts, guide team members, handle customer concerns, and help keep the store stocked, organized, and running efficiently. What You’ll Do

Shift Leadership & Team Support

• Oversee store operations during assigned shifts and in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Assign tasks to team members and follow up to ensure work is completed.

• Train, guide, and support team members throughout their shifts.

• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service.

• Address customer concerns and help resolve issues professionally.

• Communicate important updates and daily feedback to store leadership.

Store Operations

• Complete opening, midshift, and closing procedures according to company standards.

• Use store checklists and evaluations to ensure daily tasks are completed.

• Help keep shelves stocked, products rotated, and displays organized.

• Monitor product quality, freshness, pricing, and promotional signage.

• Assist with inventory counts and loss prevention efforts.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store.

Cash Handling & Store Standards

• Follow company cash control procedures and assist with register issues as authorized.

• Ensure cash deletions, over-rings, and other adjustments follow company policy.

• Follow and enforce company policies and operating procedures.

• Identify and address safety concerns to maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.

• Maintain the security and confidentiality of company information.

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge of grocery operations, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to assign tasks, support team members, and follow through on daily priorities.

• Dependable, organized, and willing to take initiative.

• Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions during busy shifts.

• Comfortable handling basic math and cash transactions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout your shift.

• Ability to stock merchandise and place products on shelves at various heights.

• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
