The Shift Leader provides hands-on leadership during assigned shifts and helps ensure smooth restaurant operations. Shift Leaders work alongside team members while providing direction, maintaining standards, solving problems, and supporting management.

Lead team members during assigned shifts.
Assign workstations and shift responsibilities.
Ensure employees are prepared and in position for service.
Monitor customer service and speed of service.
Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations as needed.
Ensure food is prepared according to required recipes and standards.
Monitor food temperatures and food-safety procedures.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Assist with cash handling and drawer verification when assigned.
Restock products and supplies throughout the shift.
Communicate shortages, equipment problems, employee concerns, and guest issues to management.
Coach employees and reinforce restaurant standards.
Help create a positive and productive work environment.
Previous restaurant or food-service experience preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Dependable and punctual.
Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.
Willingness to work alongside team members.
Ability to follow and enforce food-safety procedures.
