Freddy's is looking for a Shift Supervisor to assist the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant by providing leadership, motivating team members, and meeting operational expectations. Shift Supervisors open and close the restaurant and are responsible for maintaining the Freddy's experience for our team members and guests during the shift. This position also works to control labor and food costs, manage inventory, build relationships with guests, handle guest issues, and serve as a model of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support your team during assigned shifts
  • Ensure quality food preparation and exceptional guest service
  • Provide coaching, direction, and motivation to team members
  • Coordinate opening and closing activities in a timely and safe manner
  • Assist with operational responsibilities, including inventory and team performance
  • Handle and resolve guest issues with a commitment to satisfactory resolutions
  • Foster a fun, fast-paced, fulfilling work environment
  • Contribute to sales and profit goals

Required Skills and Experience:

  • One year of experience in a guest-focused business (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.)
  • Natural leadership skills with a self-starting personality and even disposition
  • Willingness to learn new skills and receptiveness to coaching
  • Must always maintain a professional appearance and manner
  • Must be able to communicate well with guests and team members
  • Must be willing to "pitch in" and help co-workers with their job duties — a true team player
  • Ability to use point of sale system

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):

  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Evening availability — must be able to open/close the restaurant
  • Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift while standing or walking
  • Will be required to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Will require bending, stooping, and occasional use of a ladder
  • Dependable and punctual
