Role overview

Shift Managers/Leads and Assistant Managers are key members of our restaurant leadership team. You'll lead the shift, coach the team on tasks, and deliver the Costa Vida experience through outstanding guest service, quality food, and a clean, welcoming restaurant. Leaders are the most influential team members within Costa Vida.

What you'll do

• Lead and support the team during your shift (set the pace, assign tasks, and jump in where needed).
• Deliver prompt, friendly guest service and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain food quality, accuracy, and speed of service.
• Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe restaurant environment.
• Coach and develop team members to follow standards and provide a consistent Costa Vida experience.

Must-have requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including days, nights, and weekends) up to 5-6 days per week, as needed.
• Restaurant leadership experience (Shift Lead/Supervisor or similar) or strong restaurant experience with the ability to lead and coach a team.
• Commitment to great guest service, quality standards, and cleanliness.

Preferred qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of restaurant experience.
• 6+ months in a Shift Lead/Supervisor role (for leadership positions).
