Shift Superintendent – Manufacturing
Full-time leadership role in wood products manufacturing responsible for plant performance across safety, production, quality, cost, and team development. Requires strong hands-on leadership in a high-volume production environment.
Role
- Lead daily plant operations across production, maintenance, and quality
- Drive safety, throughput, yield, downtime, and cost performance
- Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams
- Improve efficiency, OEE, and production flow
- Oversee continuous improvement and process stability
- Partner with maintenance on equipment reliability and uptime
- Manage budgets and support cost control initiatives
Requirements & Details
- 8–15+ years leadership experience in wood products or heavy manufacturing
- Strong hands-on, floor-level leadership style
- Experience leading large production and maintenance teams
- Proven ability to drive KPIs and operational performance
- Lean or continuous improvement experience preferred
