Position: Shift Supervisor

Job Type: Pool, Non-Exempt

Shift Details: As Needed - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center Salary: Hourly Wage $39.00 - $41.00/hour

Specialties, Licenses, or Certifications:

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
  • Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
  • State designation as required per state regulations.

Summary of Job The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift, including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals, and maintenance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Provides leadership coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned staff. • Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process. • Guest Care & Advocacy: Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual. • Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individuals support team, such as family members, friends, case managers, and other area programs. • Compliance & Risk Management: Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity, and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion. • Completes clinical documentation as required. • Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed, and submitted according to policy. • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
  • Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
  • State designation as required per state regulations.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.

Skills:

  • Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Must be able to pass de-escalation training as defined by state requirements.

Driving Requirements: If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy. If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
  • Travel required based on business need.
  • Successful completion and meeting all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality HIPAA guidelines and regulations and professionalism.
  • We are a Second-Chance Employer:
  • Must be able to pass a seven-year background check.
  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing if applicable.
  • Must be able to pass education verification check.
  • Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
  • Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier if driving is required for this position.
  • A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.

Physical Demands: May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling finger dexterity, eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision, color vision, use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment: May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.

ADDENDUM - Arizona Education: Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university. Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Registered Nurse (RN) Certification.

Misc. Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.

ADDENDUM - California Education: Associate Degree required; Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Licensure: Certification as Peer Counselor if Masters Degree requirement above is not present.

Misc. Requirement: 3 years of experience.

ADDENDUM - Delaware Education: Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university. Licensure: Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health (LACMH), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Associate Chemical Dependency Professional (LACDP), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Certification.

Misc. Requirement: Masters level education is required with licensure preferred.

ADDENDUM - Louisiana Education: Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university. Licensure: Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Provisional Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) Certification.

Misc. Requirement: Must be 24 years or older.

ADDENDUM - Maryland Education: Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university. Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) Certification.
