Express Employment Professionals of Centennial and Castle Rock is in search of an Accounting Clerk for a Dental equipment company in Englewood, CO. The ideal professional will demonstrate sound communication skills, strong accounting skills, and strong organizational skills.
Job Highlights:
- Accounting Clerk is required to keep financial records updated, prepare reports and reconcile bank statements, work in Great Plains to process business transactions like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts, ensure daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
- Provide accounting and clerical support within the accounting department
- Process AP, AR, expense vouchers and receipts
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in ERP system
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Assist auditors
- Process sales tax reports and payments
- Monitor and contact customers on outstanding accounts
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Constantly update job knowledge
- Any additional tasks required to support the accounting department
What we look for:
- 2+ years' experience in an Accounting role (AP/AR)
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read fine print associates with invoices
