The Shift Supervisor is accountable for motivating employees to produce quality products in a consistent, timely and cost-effective manner that meets and exceeds the quality expectations of our customers. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising the performance and results of employees, leading to a well performing team. Perform applicable food safety duties within the Production department.

  • Post Secondary Education
  • 5+ Years production experience in a food processing industry
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Initiate problem solving in packaging to improve results.
  • Supervising the performance and results of employees leading to a well performing team. Develop, lead, and coach employees through effective training and recognition. Foster and maintain a positive work environment by ensuring that all employees are treated with respect, and employee concerns are managed.
  • Utilize equipment, supplies, and personnel to maximize productivity.
  • Identify productivity improvements.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to employees to ensure that standard operating procedures are understood and followed. Ensure compliance with Government regulations and Company specifications for SQF, HACCP, Sanitation, and Safety.
  • Document and maintain accurate records with respect to employee performance, product quality, daily reconciliation, health and safety, and attendance.
  • Manage rework and tote inventory daily
