Pay Rate: $35.00 / hour

Duties:

+ Assures that tank/compartment has an updated safe for hot work ticket and that requirements of the ticket have been met.

+ Assures that conditions of the tank/compartment have not changed since the ticket was written.

+ Assures that a Work Authorization Form (WAF) ticket is on the job site and that it is for the specific job being accomplished, no work will be accomplished without a WAF posted at location of repairs.

+ Assures that any other safety issues are complied with that relate to the specific job being accomplished.

+ Assures that you are trained or qualified for the work you are assigned to do.

+ Assures that you and personnel working under your direction are working as safely and as productively as possible maintaining quality control at all times.

+ Assures that the job site is left in a safe and clean condition prior to departure.

+ Assures that personnel have a work package and the necessary drawings, technical manuals, or specifications required for them to adequately accomplish their work assignments.

Position Requirements:

+ Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.

+ Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required.

+ Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility.

+ Must have good eye/hand coordination.

+ Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels · These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy.

+ Must have or soon acquire a valid passport.

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

Work Location: General Dynamics, Kings Bay, GA 31547.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $35.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
