Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary
Seeking a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves sit-down forklift operation, coordinating shipments, scheduling carrier pickups, and building wooden shipping crates. Ideal candidates will have strong shipping experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
• Schedule carrier pickups and manage shipping logistics
• Build wooden shipping crates using basic hand tools
• Load and unload materials and finished goods
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation
• Follow safety and warehouse procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience
• 2–3 years of direct shipping experience
• Experience scheduling carrier pickups and coordinating shipments
• Experience building wooden shipping crates
• Ability to use basic woodworking tools (drill, hammer, handsaw)
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
