If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career with a stable and growing company, this is your opportunity!What You'll Do:Promote safety by leading by example, participating in safety engagement and encouraging team members to work safe each day and to follow all safety guidelines/proceduresReceives raw stock, chemicals, materials, and supplies using small, large, and clamp lift trucksProfessionally interact with Truck drivers, Customer Service, Dispatchers, and our customers.Deliver items to appropriate departments upon receipt.Receives up to 50 Chemical drums per day using a Drum hand cartUses computer to receive and ship all shipments in Prism/MES/SAP systems.Performs weekly and monthly cycle counts on raw material and chemicalsLabels and loads hazardous waste barrels and empty barrels to comply with EPA & DOT regulations.Monitors recycling trailers and reorganize as needed.Attends initial and annual plant hazardous waste training, as well as DOT required Hazardous Materials Training.Move materials and supplies to appropriate destination within the plant, rotates stock as neededShips finished products by checking shipping schedule, reviewing load list, taking product measurements, updating inventory records and loading and securing products onto transportation using lift and clamp trucks.Performs daily maintenance checks on fork trucksCompletes required 6S program responsibilities for assigned areasRegular, consistent attendanceReceive, monitor and change resin railcar compartments, requires successful completion of fall protection training.We're Looking For:High school diploma or GEDPrevious fork truck experiencePrevious shipping/receiving experience preferredStrong commitment to safety, quality, productivity and customersRequires the ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math and take accurate measurements, make calculations and use hand tools.Solid computer skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to communicate positively both verbally and in writingAbility to sit and climb up and off fork truck repeatedly for 8 hoursMust have the ability to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoesShift Details:10AM-6PM (Monday-Friday)Why Join Loparex?Comprehensive Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic and supplemental life insuranceShort and long-term disability401K and retirement enhancement planPaid Time Off: 11 paid holidaysEmployee Perks: Uniforms, safety shoe allowance, and wellness reimbursement.Stable long-term employment.We are an equal opportunity employer.
