You are responsible for managing truck traffic, maintaining critical documentation, and providing the real-time data necessary to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

This role requires a reliable individual who can communicate effectively across various teams while managing time-critical logistics data. Your primary duties will include:

  • Traffic & Yard Management: Physically check all trailers entering or exiting the yard, directing drivers to appropriate locations for drop-offs and pick-ups.

  • Detailed Documentation: Log essential data including trailer and seal numbers, tractor and load numbers, and trailer status (full or empty).

  • Systems Operations: Dispatch loads into warehouse, transportation, and yard management systems to maintain accurate digital records.

  • Inventory Auditing: Perform daily yard checks and reconcile physical counts with yard inventory reports.

  • Team Coordination: Plan and communicate trailer movements directly to switchers, dock managers, and transportation planners.

  • Operational Reporting: Run essential reports and ensure all required paperwork and records are completed accurately.




What You’ll Need

  • Experience: Previous experience in service, warehousing, or fulfillment is preferred.

  • Education: A High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Physical Capability: 

    • The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

    • The ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs. unassisted.

  • Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.

  • Proficiency using a computer keyboard, screen, and telephone systems.

  • Availability: Regular and reliable attendance is essential, including the ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
