They are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Agent to join their warehouse team and help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.

Summary:
Process outbound shipments accurately and efficiently through multiple carriers.
Prepare shipping labels, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and other required shipping documentation.
Verify shipment information, product quantities, and customer shipping requirements.
Coordinate carrier pickups and ensure completed orders are ready for shipment.
Work closely with warehouse team members to resolve shipping issues and keep orders moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Process outbound shipments through UPS, FedEx, and other small-package carriers.
Prepare and process LTL freight shipments, including creating Bills of Lading and required shipping documentation.
Verify customer, carrier, service level, package, pallet, and shipping information before shipments are finalized.
Prepare, review, and maintain shipping labels, BOLs, packing documents, and other shipment records.
Coordinate carrier pickups and ensure shipments are properly staged and ready for pickup.
Review orders for accuracy and verify products and quantities match shipping documentation.
Identify and help resolve shipping discrepancies or documentation issues.
Accurately update shipment information in company systems.
Follow customer-specific shipping instructions and requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as needed.
Requirements:
Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
Experience with UPS, FedEx, LTL freight, and Bills of Lading is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, business software, and shipping platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
HazMat shipping certification is a plus, or the willingness to complete required training and certification.
Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
