Shipping and Delivery Specialist - PRN, As Needed

• Communicate data to Inventory or Quality Assurance Coordinator personnel as needed based on standard operating procedures.

• Respond appropriately to hazardous spills according to McLeod Health policy.

• Receives incoming products to verify accuracy according to standard operating procedure.

• Prepare items to be shipped out via USPS, UPS, Fed Ex. according to standard operating procedure.

• Assist in unloading deliveries using forklift, electric pallet jack, and /or manual pallet jack.

• Accurately pick and put away supplies including replenishment within the Distribution Center according to standard operating procedure.

• Able to operate assigned power equipment, computer systems, printers, hand held scanners, etc. safely.

• Able to lift products weighing up to 35 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis.

• Consolidate orders by hospital/department/offices etc.

• Load pallets and/or carts for delivery to departments on McLeod owned box truck.

• Drive box truck for delivery to hospitals/departments/offices etc.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• If the operation of a McLeod owned or leased vehicle is required; must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving record.

• Must pass and maintain DOT physical certification through Mcleod Employee Health.

Education:

• Minimum of a High school diploma or successful completion of McLeod approved Transition to Work Program.
